Store and Shipping Policies

PayPal Orders
Orders paid with PayPal will not be shipped until the funds have been transferred/clear our paypal's account. All refunds will be returned to your PayPal account.  Shipping address information must be updated through PayPal. If you use PayPal at checkout, the address listed with PayPal is the destination for your order. AsianGroceryStore.com.au cannot be responsible for incorrect information provided to us. Once your order has been delivered, shipping address can not be changed for that order.

When you purchase online, our system uses Australia Post's formula for weight calculations to estimate how much the shipping will cost you. The shipping cost quoted in our website is including the small fee for shipping and handling fee and packing materials (eg. bubble wrap, used newspapers, Shredder paper etc.). The postage cost quoted is for Australia only and for regular mail service, it does not include Express Post or shipping to countries other than Australia.

Organise Your Parcels Order
We might use used newspapers or magazines to wrap all cans and use bubble wrap and used newspapers, shredder paper or magazines for glass items which are also put inside a box. Our warehouse is clean and new, all boxes leave our store in excellent condition, we do not send damaged goods. Cans may be dented and glass products can break in transit and some items do not travel well no matter how well we pack them. Once the parcel(s) are collected by Australia Post we will not pay compensation for lost, stolen or damaged goods. You may choose to select Australia Post insurance at our website checkout, please contact us should you feel you need assistance making a claim for damage to goods during transit if insurance has been selected.
Note: Please do not throw away the damage parcel, you will need to show them proof of damage for your claim.

Australia Post delivery: We use Australia Post to deliver your parcels who follow their own schedule for delivery. We cannot organise or control their schedules and as such cannot guarantee your parcels will arrive on a certain day or at a certain time. If you are not at home when delivery is made, they should leave a card indicating that they attempted to make delivery. The card should indicate which local post office the parcel was left at for pickup. Please take the card with you when you claim your parcel from your local post office as listed on the card. Identification may be required.
Note: Australian Post do not at this time offer specific Saturday, Sunday or Holiday delivery, delivery only from Monday to Friday during business hours.

Australia Post (with Insurance)
We do not accept responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged parcels once they have been posted. There is an option for you to choose Australia Post (with Insurance) at the checkout on our website. Australia Post (with Insurance) now costs $1.80. to cover loss or damage of an article up to $100 for a standard delivery.

Missing or lost parcels
Once your parcel has been posted we will email you a tracking code which can be used to check the delivery status of your item. If you have chosen Australia Post (with Insurance) you will also receive an insurance code. If your package does not arrive within a reasonable time frame (later than 5 working days after shipping) please contact the post office in your area to see if the parcel is there. If it is not there, please email us admin@AsianGroceryStore.com.au. Any Lost or damage product, you need to claim direct to Australia Post if you selected Australia Post (with Insurance). AsianGroceryStore.com.au will assist you where we can, however if the parcel is not insured compensation will not be given.

If you did not select Australia Post (with Insurance) from the options on the website and your parcel goes missing, is lost or is damaged, Australia Post do not take any responsibility and you will need to check your local post office for any parcels under your name. We recommend customers select Australia Post (with Insurance) from the checkout section options before you finalise your transaction order.

Return to Sender Parcels
If your parcel is returned to us due to incorrect address details or any other reason (such as failure to collect the parcel from your local post office) we will contact you to organise redelivery of your order once your parcel has been returned to our warehouse. Please note you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred.

Return to sender parcels can take up to 4 weeks to be returned to our warehouse depending on the postal service in the destination so please ensure that your address details are correct before paying for your order.

AsianGroceryStore.com.au Store Policy
We do not hold any orders for pickup at this stage. There is NO MINIMUM for website orders. We only accept Visa credit card, Mastercard credit card and PayPal. Sorry no Diners, American Express, personal cheques, direct deposit or Cash. All prices are in Australian dollars.

We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information on our web site. When errors are discovered, we will correct them. We reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies , including after an order has been submitted, after it has been confirmed, or after your credit card has been charged. If we discover a pricing error after your credit card has been charged, we will contact you to inform you. We will let you know how much is the correct price, and if you agree with the new price, you will need to pay us the correct price, so we can process your order.
If you do not want to pay the correct price,  We will cancel your order and will refund your purchase.


Refund Policy - Products Damaged or Shipped in Error
Products are free of damage and breakage when your order is shipped from our warehouses. Although AsianGroceryStore.com.au products are packaged very carefully, damages may occur in transit. Please contact Australia Post should you receive a damaged or broken product. Make sure to save all contents, including packaging, for Australia Post to investigate. If you have selected Australia Post (with Insurance) you will need to submit a claim to Australia Post.

We Only Refund or give a credit if order was shipped in error.

If there is a problem with your order from us, please E-mail us within 48 hours to discuss further. Sorry No refunds, exchanges or credits unless claimed within 10 days from purchase. There is no exchange, refund or credit for a product simply because you do not like it.
